Directors of the Board

Jeanne Perez


Responsibilities: Communication, newsletters, marketing

Jeanne is a proud mother of an Aquamaid in the 13-15 program. She is a Legal Operations Manager at Hewlett Packard. She has an extensive background in finance, communications, and Business Operations has enabled her to add value to the Aquamaids Board. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and the little things in life.

Pernilla Quarfordt


Responsibilities: Communication

Pernilla Quarfordt is the mother of two Aquamaids, one in the 11-12 program and one in the 13-15 program. She has a research background in Human-Computer Interaction. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science. She has long experience of non-profit organizations in various capacities. Before joining the board, Pernilla helped to implement Aquamaids’ new web presence. She strongly believes that good communication with current and future families and swimmers will make Aquamaids stronger.

Mingming Liu


Responsibilities: Finance

Mingming Liu is the mother of an Aquamaid in the 11-12 program. She is an attorney, has over 18 years of experience, and held management positions at fortune 100 company and public accounting firms. Mingming enjoys spending time with her family and using her professional background to contribute to the Aquamaids Board.

Yong Zhu

Director at large

Responsibilities: Chair of Audit Committee

Yong Zhu is the father of an Aquamaid in the 10&Under program. He held various management positions in research, manufacturing, outsourcing, and business development in biotech industry. He helped the company in new product launch and established global outsourcing networks. Yong holds a PhD in Biochemistry and an MBA in Finance and Strategy.

Heather Dal Cielo

Director at Large

Responsibilities: TBA

Heather Dal Cielo (Dirven) is a proud mother of an Aquamaid in the 13-15 program. She has nearly 20 years experience in Human Resources with extensive background in Employee Relations; she has worked at Abbott for over 18 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children in her spare time and plans to support the Aquamaids board through further strengthening its goals and mission.
