Michele Costanza has been a part of our Aquamaid family since 1967. She started as a swimmer in our 10&under program and continued competing until 1979. During those years as an athlete, she competed in many National and International Championships and is a National and World Champion in the duet and team events.
Michele has been a part of our coaching staff since 1980. She has coached every age group program- from our Pre Competitive athletes to our Olympians. She was honored as Coach of the Year for the development of our 12 and under age group program. Not only does she love to help the athletes prepare for competition, but also loves to help choreograph for our water shows and exhibitions. One of the most exciting was helping our head coach, Chris Carver, choreograph the “Classical Splash”, which was a series of watershows performed with live, local orchestras in a variety of cities.
Michele loves coaching the athletes to be the best synchronized swimmers they can possibly be, but even more importantly, she loves using this wonderful sport to help teach them how to be the best people they can be.
